Route Changes Due to Flooding

Hello Big BAM riders! We couldn't be more excited to kick off our 5th annual ride with you, beginning with our kickoff party at Broadway Brewery in Columbia on Sunday, June 9.

As the ride approaches, we've had to make some difficult choices with our planned route. Although we originally planned to ride from Moberly to Arrow Rock, then from Arrow Rock to Columbia, the recent flooding has forced us to revise the route for the safety and comfort of our riders.

New Day 4 Route Detail

The road west of Glasgow is closed with flood waters covering it, and many other roads near the river in the area remain closed. With that in mind, we've decided to re-route from Moberly back to Perry, where we'll be spending the night before riding back to Columbia.

Although we're disappointed that we won't be able to make it to Arrow Rock, we are extremely thankful to our gracious hosts in Perry for having us back for another night! We'll still have live music from The Kay Brothers to keep the party going.

New Day 5 Route Detail

Big BAM veterans will recognize the route from Moberly to Perry as covering some of the same ground we covered in 2017. This leg of that year's ride contains highlights like Union Covered Bridge, where we'll have a water stop, as well as Mark Twain Lake.

Please check out our route guide for more information on the route.
